Rev. Clarence Torrie Owsley Jr.
The Rev. Clarence Torrie Owsley Jr., 92, of Eureka, Ill., died at 3:25 p.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011.
He was born in Grain Valley, Mo. He married Elizabeth Owsley, who survives.
Other survivors include three sons, Philip (Dorothy) Owsley of New Berlin, Wis., Paul (Marsha) Owsley of Chesterfield, Ill., and Daniel (Hope) Owsley of Spring Arbor, Mich.; a sister, Charlotte Padoven of Missouri City, Texas; 10 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
His parents and seven siblings also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 15, at Kingsley United Methodist Church in rural Van Wert County, with Pastor Anthony Perry officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.
Calling hours are from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, December 14, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
