Helen C. Heath

Helen C. Heath, 92, of Convoy, died at 12:55 p.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011, at Vancrest Health Care Center of Convoy.

She was born April 6, 1919, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late Harvey C. and Nellie (Severns) Smith. On June 14, 1939, she married Glenn D. Heath Sr., who preceded her in death in 1966.

Survivors include four children, Connie (Earl) Hainline of Rockford, Glenn Heath Jr. of Toutle, Wash., William (Janice) Heath of Convoy and Robert Heath of Greeley, Colo.; and numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Two daughters, Nancy Thompson and Debra Heath; five brothers, George, Clarence, Bernard, Kenneth and Merlin Smith; and a sister, Eva Halliwell, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 29, at Countryside Chapel United Methodist Church in Convoy, with the Rev. Wayne E. Karges officiating.

Calling hours are an hour prior to services Thursday, December 29, at the church.

Preferred memorials: The church or Convoy EMS Squad.
