Crestview freshmen defeat Thunderbirds

CONVOY — Last night in freshman boys’ basketball action, the Crestview Knights defeated the visiting Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds by the score of 32-7.  With a tight score at halftime and the Knights leading 11-7, the home team came out and played intense defense, while also knocking down some key shots to help them to victory.

The Knights move to 2-1 overall with a Northwest Conference record of 2-0.  Next action will be next Thursday, December 29, when the Knights travel to Lima Perry to take on the Commodores, with a 5 p.m. start time.
