Van Wert independent/Heart Land Patriots information
Tuesday evening, January 10, marks the first meeting for the Van Wert County Heart Land Patriots for the critical 2012 election year. The group will meet at 7 p.m. in the Fireside Room of the Trinity Friends Family Life Center, 605 N. Franklin St. in Van Wert.
On the agenda that evening will be laying out firm goals for the first Candidates Night of the year, which will occur on Tuesday evening, January 24, in preparation for the March 6 Ohio primary election. Candidates for contested local, county, and statewide offices will be invited to share their qualifications and enthusiasm for offices they are seeking. In addition, the group will be discussing strategic goals for increased voter registration, and voter education leading towards the critical national election in November. Fundraising goals and projects, as well as countywide activities will be planned as the group begins to fill in their calendars with meaningful opportunities for educating and motivating the electorate.
Further information on the group’s goals and how to participate in this conservative, grass-roots organization, which seeks to return the nation to Constitutional, limited government rule, may be received by calling the Rev. Keith E. Stoller at 419.968.2869.
