Emma P. Ross

Emma P. Ross, 63, of Convoy, died at 3:49 a.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born January 2, 1949, in Bluffton, Ind., the daughter of the late Victor R. and Mary Juanita (Shinn) Lautzenheiser. On September 11, 1971, she married Paul D. Ross, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Andy Ross of Convoy; two brothers, Ronnie J. (Margaret) Lautzenheiser of Convoy and Roy (Doris) Lautzenheiser of Geneva, Ind.; and three sisters, Vicie (Mike) Mounts and Lana Lautzenheiser, both of Van Wert, and Joyce (David) Amstutz of Plano, Texas.

A daughter, Amy Marie, who died August 15, 1975; one brother, James Lautzenheiser; and three sisters, Beverley Linnemeyer, Bonnie Counts and Janet McConn, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, January 13, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials: Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, or Praise Point Church near Willshire.
