The monies will be used by the Girl Scouts to help fund the activities for the summer resident camps and summer education outreach programs. Van Wert Lodge’s donation will provide the Girl Scout program to girls in the Van Wert community unable to participate otherwise.

The Girl Scouts provides programs for girls from Kindergarten thru high school seniors. Girl Scouting has always been at the forefront of developing leadership in girls. Today, the Girl Scout leadership experience is considered the premier program for building essential skills that will serve girls and young women through any challenge they may face in life.
