Daniel W. Brinkman

Daniel W. Brinkman, 59, of Delphos, died at 6:11 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2012, at his residence.

He was born March 29, 1952, in Lima, the son of the late John H. and Lois J. (Stocklin) Brinkman.    On June 27, 1975, he married Carolyn A. (Donaldson) Brinkman, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include two sons, Jeremy (Megin) Brinkman of Shawnee and Josh (Carrie) Brinkman of Middle Point; a daughter, Sarah Brinkman of Delphos; five brothers, John (Nancy) Brinkman, Don (Susan) Brinkman, Roger (Pattie) Brinkman and David (Patti) Brinkman, all of Delphos, and James (Trina) Brinkman of Middle Point; five sisters, Judith (Richard) Godwin of North Carolina, Patricia (Charles) Gengler and Constance (Gary) Stevens, both of Delphos, Jane (Chuck) Lehmkuhle of Spencerville and Susan Placke of Troy; and five grandchildren.

A brother, Terry Brinkman; and an infant sister, Karen Sue Brinkman, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, at Harter and Schier Memorial Chapel, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. The Spencerville Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion posts will perform military rites. Burial will be held at a later date.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, January 19, at the funeral home, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
