The L.I.F.E. skill of “Patience” was modeled at St. Mary of the Assumption School. Our Bible model was Jonah. Because he disobeyed God, Jonah was swallowed by a great fish and remained there for 3 days. Jonah learned how to be patient and prayed to God for forgiveness. God was patient. He knew Jonah would eventually go to Ninevah and tell the people to repent.

To 20 and the 12 are for the year 2012 – C,B, and M are the first letters of the traditional names of the magi who brought their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh to the Christ child. With this chalking we ask God’s blessing on all who enter and leave our building. We also ask blessings on us and ask that we may be examples to others of the Christian life.
