Joyce Darlene Derossett

Joyce Darlene “Grandma” Derossett, 78, of Mendon, died Tuesday, January 17, 2012, at Lima Memorial Hospital.

She was born September 21, 1933, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late Ernest and Ella K. (Davis) Clouse. On July 17, 1971, she married Talbie Derossett, who preceded her in death on September 14, 2004.

Survivors include a son, Jack (Sherry) Clouse of Kenai, Alaska; one daughter, Jill Mast of Mendon; and four grandchildren.

Two brothers, Albert “Buck” Davis and Carl Davis, and one sister, Ruby Snyder, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 21, at W.H. Dick & Sons-Hellwarth Funeral Home in Mendon, with the Rev. Don Clinger officiating. Burial will be in Mendon Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 20, and an hour prior to services Saturday at the funeral home.
