Local fireworks show set for July 4

Despite online claims to the contrary, the City of Van Wert’s annual Independence Day fireworks show will take place at 10 p.m. Friday, July 4, at Van Wert High School. 

A social media post claimed the show was canceled due to a lack of funds, but the Facebook account appears to be a fake.
