E. Irene (Welch) Stone

The Lowe and Mary Agler family recently received word of the death of E. Irene (Welch) Stone of Salinas, Calif.

She was formerly of Van Wert and attended Van Wert City Schools. She was a member of the Class of 1951.  She lived most her adult life in California.

Surviving are three children, Richard (Wagonrod) Stone, Grenda (Wagonrod) Stone, and Robin Lowe; three stepchildren, Karen, Claudia, and Dana Stone, all of Salinas Calif.; 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a brother, Randy (Melina) Agler of Willshire; six sisters Doramae (G.R.) Loftis of Good Springs Nev., Sharon (John) Silance of Jacksonville, N.C., Sandy (Harold) Wann of Antwerp, and Marcia (Dale) Davies, Judy (Keith) Bowers, and Regina Henney, all of Van Wert. Several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Mac Stone; a brother, Gordon Agler; and a stepson, Mike Stone.
