Charlene G. Resor

Charlene G. Resor, 94, of Willshire, died at 7:50 p.m. Sunday, February 5, 2012, at The Laurels of Shane Hill in Rockford.

She was born October 12, 1917, in Liberty Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Ross and Virgie (Voltz) Hoverman. On June 19, 1936, she married Clarence R. Resor, who preceded her in death on October 18, 1998.

Survivors include a son, Ralph R. (Monika) Resor of Senden, Germany; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A daughter, Cathy Jo Bruns; one brother; and a sister, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 10, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. Burial will be held at a later date in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, February 9, at the funeral home.
