Randy E. Goodwin

Randy E. Goodwin, 62, of Commerce Township, Mich., died at 1:25 p.m. Monday, February 6, 2012, at his residence.

He was born February 8, 1949, in Kenton, the son of Mary Lou (Bailey) Goodwin, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Richard “Ernie” Goodwin. He was married to Belinda (Collins) Goodwin, who survives at the residence in Commerce Township, Mich.

Other survivors include three children, Cheri Goodwin of Van Wert, Davie E. Goodwin of Wren and Eric S. Goodwin of Commerce Township, Mich.; a sister, Bekkie (Rolland) Mowery of Van Wert; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A grandson, Brandon Heath, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Thursday, February 9, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

Calling hours are from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
