Linda L. Ainsworth

Linda L. Ainsworth, 71, of Ohio City, died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, February 8, 2012, at her residence.

She was born October 22, 1940, in Ohio City, the daughter of the late Von E. and Virginia M. (Neiford) Mottinger. On October 24, 1964, she married John D. Ainsworth, who preceded her in death on July 25, 2006.

Survivors include a son, Jason Ainsworth of Ohio City; one daughter, Lori (Tim S.) Braun of Ohio City; a brother, Don E. (Darlene) Mottinger of Ohio City; four sisters-in-law, Joan Ainsworth, Norma Jean Bowen, Sue (Leroy) Ernie and Annie (Bill) Carr, all of Ohio City; two brothers-in-law, Mark (Debbie) Ainsworth and Ed Ainsworth, both of Ohio City; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 11, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Steve G. Waterman and Pastor Jay Watts officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Friday, February 10, at the funeral home.
