NWS issues Blowing Dust Advisory

The National Weather Service has issued a rare Blowing Dust Advisory for Van Wert, Paulding, Defiance Putnam and Allen counties until 8 p.m. tonight (Friday).

Visibilty is between one-quarter mile and a mile in blowing dust areas, which, along with wind gusts around 60 miles per hour, has led to difficult travel conditions.
