Cougar divers headed to state meet

BOWLING GREEN — Junior Kase Schalois and senior Garrett McDowell will compete at the Ohio State Diving Championships on February 22 as a result of a job well done at the Northwest Ohio District Championship held at Bowling Green State University.

Schalois placed fourth overall with a score of 347.35 points and will be returning to Canton after also competing last season. McDowell finished seventh, scoring 294 55 points, and will make his first trip to the event.

Seniors Gretchen Klinker and Kaylee Meyers also competed, with Klinker in 24th place, scoring 106.70 points, and Meyers finished 31st, with 93.50 points.
