Loretta M. Nomina

Loretta M. Nomina, 79, of Delphos, died at 1:24 a.m. Friday, February 17, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.

She was born September 13, 1932, in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elix and Hazel (Brock) Collins. In 1974, she married Melvin Nomina, who survives in Delphos.

Other survivors include a daughter, Cindy Goote of Elida; one stepdaughter, Suzanne (David) Laudadio of North Carolina; three grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A son, Jerry Bushong; and a stepson, Steven Nomina, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, February 20, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Sunday, February 19, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
