Retirees meet for monthly luncheon

On June 24, a cheerful group of Central Insurance retirees and their guests met for their monthly midday get‑together at Pizza Hut in Van Wert. The buffet was a popular stop, and the rest of the late morning was spent catching up, reminiscing, and enjoying an easygoing meal in good company.

Attendees included Doug Watson, Kay Sluterbeck, Gloria Tumblin, Sharon Baer, Ruth Ricker, Deb Boroff, Phil Steinen, Val Sluterbeck, Dorothy Helmke, Grace Haselman, Paula Giessler, Linda Holden, Luanne Watson, John Auld, Vivian Langhals, and Sue Karst.

Laughter and conversation moved comfortably around the table, creating the familiar, friendly atmosphere the group looks forward to each month.

The next luncheon will take place at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 29, at Pizza Hut, 735 W. Ervin Road, Van Wert. This gathering will be purely social, with no scheduled presentation. All Central retirees and their guests are welcome to join in for another relaxed midday meal, friendly conversation, and a chance to reconnect.
