QA dates set for Junior Fair exhibitors

Quality assurance is a state required training program for any 4-H or FFA member who is exhibiting livestock (excluding rabbits) at the junior fair. The Ohio State University Extension is hosting two QA events at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds in 2012, with the first of those events this Sunday, March 4, starting at 2 p.m.

The gate on Washington Street will be closed and members will be asked to enter at the gate off Balyeat Avenue. Members must register at the Junior Fair Building or Extension Office upon arrival the day of the event. Further instructions will be provided at that time.

Members eligible for test-out can do so, starting at 1 p.m. at the Junior Fair Building.

The other date for Quality Assurance is Tuesday, April 17, starting at 6 p.m. Test-out is offered one hour prior to the start of that event.
