Bunny Hoppers held first meeting in Feb.

The Van Wert Bunny Hoppers Rabbit Club had its first meeting on February 21 at the OSU Extension office. Club members talked about meat rabbits, breeding rabbits, and doe and litter projects for the upcoming year.

In addition, a discussion was held on other projects that are available to take in 4-H. Information for the upcoming year was also handed out and Madelyn Lamb gave a demonstration on a Netherland Dwarf Rabbit.

The second meeting of the year will be March 8 at the extension office at 6:30 p.m. As always, parents and grandparents are invited and encouraged to attend all meetings. Raising 4-H animals is a family project, so members’ families are invited to learn with them.
