YW to have Women’s History Month event

The YWCA of Van Wert County will be hosting the first ever Meals & Heels luncheon in celebration of Women’s History Month. The event will take place on Friday, March 30, at noon at the YWCA.

Enjoy lunch with other women while guest speaker Deb Kleinhenz, president of the local chapter of the American Association of University Women, shares stories of women in history, local female achievements and some fun facts about female fashion.

Meals & Heels is an event designed to inspire, empower, and just a way to have fun with friends. With a $10 donation, each attendee will enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by the YWCA and also be entered into a raffle. All proceeds go to support the YWCA Transitional Living Program for the homeless.
