Betty J. Germann

Betty J. Germann, 76, of Van Wert, died at 4:19 p.m. Tuesday, March 6, 2012, at Van Wert Manor.

She was born April 1, 1935, In Van Wert, the daughter of the late Don and Renata (Frosch) Geisman.

Survivors include two children, Philip (Loretta) Germann of Ohio City and Nancy (Tim) Reter of Wapakoneta; two brothers, Don Geisman of Albany, Ga., and Ken Geisman of Florida; two sisters, Jackie (Archie) Shrum of Van Wert and Judy (Tony) Todd of South Carolina; eight grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

Two sisters, Doris and Marie, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 17, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Jeff Millay officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorial: Van Wert Manor Activities Fund.
