Willshire Days festival being planned

WILLSHIRE — Plans are well underway for the 47th annual Willshire Days, sponsored by the Willshire Lions Club.

The festivities will be held Friday, June 22, Saturday, June 23, and Sunday, June 24.  A number of events and activities are planned, including a princess and prince pageant, musical groups, entertainment, games, inflatables, and many other types of fun. A community picnic will be held in the park on Sunday and will be sponsored by the local churches.

Local groups and organizations are encouraged to set up a booth in the park during the event.  Communitywide garage sales will be held on Friday and Saturday. Much more information will be forthcoming.
