Mary K. Clarkson

Mary K. Clarkson, 78, of Convoy, died at 5:42 a.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born April 5, 1934, in Union County, the daughter of the late William and Ida (Storm) Strunkenberg. On November 18, 1962, she married Lewis S. “Jack” Clarkson, who preceded her in death on August 20, 1995.

Survivors include five children, Bill (Tammy) Crowle of Muskogee, Okla., Barry (Carol) Crowle of Laredo, Texas, James (Barbara) Clarkson of Van Wert, Brenda (Rick) Krick of Shelby Township, Mich., and Barbe Goldfuss of Defiance; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and three sisters preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 9, at Gearhart, Mack & Jurczyk Funeral Home & Crematory in Convoy, with the Rev. Michael Saylor officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 8, at the funeral home.
