Daniel W. Kline

Daniel W. Kline, 62, of Van Wert, died at 3:05 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital in St. Marys.

He was born September 19, 1949, in Van Wert, the son of the late Charles William “Bud” and Patricia (Roth) Kline. On December 1, 1979, he married Pamela (Shaffer) Kline, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three children, Shaune (Chris) Lameier of Dayton, Danielle Kline of Cincinnati and Heather (Matt) McGraw of Richland, Mo.; two sisters, Linda (Gary) Kesler and Sandy Springer, both of Van Wert; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 23, at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert, with the Rev. Gus Christo-Baker officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with graveside military honors performed by combined units of American Legion 178 and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, both of Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 1-3 and 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 22, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert and an hour prior to services Wednesday at the church.
