Mary Evelyn Beerman

Mary Evelyn Beerman, 97, of Venedocia, died at 10:06 p.m. Sunday, May 20, 2012, at Van Wert County Hospital in Van Wert.

She was born April 6, 1915, in Venedocia, the daughter of the late Howell A. and Odie A. Jones. On June 24, 1939, she married Robert William Beerman, who preceded her in death on August 2, 1986.

Survivors include three daughters, Joyce (Larry) Profit of Rockford, Linda (Cliff) Bragg of Antwerp and Shirley (Herb) Summersett of Cygnet; eight grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

A twin brother, David Jones; and one daughter, Sharon K., also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 25, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with the Rev. Thomas Emery officiating. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 24, where an Eastern Star memorial service will be held at 3 that afternoon, and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
