Stephen K. Herminghuysen

Stephen K. Herminghuysen, 67, of Van Wert, died at 2:44 p.m. Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born August 24, 1943, in Van Wert, the son of the late Carl William and Evelyn Ruth (Baxter) Herminghuysen. On September 20, 1969, he married Judy (Simpson) Herminghuysen, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include a daughter, Lori (Ed) McColley of Mason; one brother, David Edward (Clariece) Herminghuysen of Shreveport, La.; a niece and a nephew.

Private funeral services will be conducted at the convenience of the family.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorial: Operation Rebirth or Calvary Preschool.

Arrangements were handled by Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.
