8 arraigned in Common Pleas Court

Eight people were arraigned on Grand Jury indictments during hearings held Wednesday in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court. Magistrate Joe Quatman presided over the cases because Judge Charles D. Steele was out of town.
Gary Stephens, 55, of Convoy, entered not guilty pleas to one count each of burglary, a felony of the second degree, and breaking and entering, a fifth-degree felony offense.
Stephens was released on a personal surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. Tuesday, June 19.
Others arraigned include the following:
Steven L. Hindenlang, 51, of Decatur, Ind., pleaded not guilty to trespass in a habitation, a felony of the fourth degree. He was ordered held on a $10,000 bond, with 10 percent of that amount to be paid in cash, and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. June 19.
Nathaniel E. Thomas, 33, of Van Wert, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. A $25,000 bond, 10 percent to be paid in cash, was continued and a pretrial conference scheduled for 8 a.m. June 19.
Corey L. Robinson, 32, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to a charge of having a weapon while under disability, a third-degree felony offense. A $25,000 bond, 10 percent to be paid in cash, was continued and a pretrial conference set for 8 a.m. June 19.
Megan L. Lippincott, 32, of Van Wert, entered a plea of not guilty to a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree. She was released on a personal surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. June 19.
Jason L. Vanover, 31, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to one count of possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference scheduled for 8 a.m. June 19.
Tina T. Means, 44, of Cincinnati, entered a plea of not guilty to one count of forgery, a felony of the fifth degree. A bond set in Van Wert Municipal Court was continued and she will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. June 19.
Steven R. Parsons Jr., 33, of Van Wert, pleaded not guilty to one count each of theft and forgery, both felonies of the fifth degree. He was released on a personal surety bond and a pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. June 19.
Also appearing in Common Pleas Court on Wednesday was Joshua A. Lane, 26, of Van Wert, who denied allegations that he violated his bond through drug activities. He was ordered held on a $10,000 cash bond until a hearing on the matter, set for 9 a.m. Tuesday, June 12.
