Douglas John Zenz

Douglas John Zenz, 44, of Van Wert and formerly of Delphos, died Monday, January 31, 2011, in Zion, Ill.

He was born January 3, 1967, in Lima, the son of Iva (White) Zenz, who survives in Delphos, and the late Raymond Zenz.

He married Heather Lynne Wettig-Zenz, who survives in Van Wert.

Other survivors include three brothers, Raymond Steve (Gale) Zenz of Spencerville and Gregory Zenz and Clint Schmitt, both of Delphos; two stepsons, Jacob Thomas (Megan Stephens) Logan and Caleb Nicholas Logan; several nieces and nephews and a stepgranddaughter.

His paternal grandparents, Ray and Beulah Zenz, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, February 8, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Pastor Paul Hamrick officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery in Delphos.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Monday, February 7, and an hour prior to services Tuesday at the funeral home.
