Jack W. Schutte

Jack W. Schutte, 89, of Delphos, died at 6:55 a.m. Friday, February 4, 2011, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

He was born June 17, 1921, in Kenton, the son of the late Harold and Margaret Schutte. He married Bonnie (Barnes) Schutte, who also preceded him in death.

Survivors include four daughters, Sandy McCann of Delphos, Jenny (Ernie) Numbers of Cridersville, Barbara (Harold) Pickett of Lexington, Ky., and Joyce (Ron) Taylor of Westerville; a brother, Don (June) Schutte of Kenton; 16 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren.

Two daughters, Alice Fuerst and Janice Schutte, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday, February 7, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Pastor Mark Bayliff officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the funeral home by the Delphos Veterans Council. Burial will be at a later date.
