Frieda Irene Gordon

Frieda Irene Gordon, 86, of Antwerp, died Monday, July 2, 2012, at the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center in Paulding.

She was born July 14, 1925, in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Basil and Lettie M. (Hooker) Williamson. In 1945, she married Herman W. Gordon, who preceded her in death on July 11, 1989.

Survivors include a son, Len P. Gordon of Antwerp; a daughter-in-law, Valerie Jean Gordon of North Hills, Calif.; and a granddaughter.

A son, Lee Gordon; three brothers, Joe Ralph “Buss” and Clyde “Mike” Williamson; and five sisters, Edith Howell, Virgie Shimp, Ethel Davis, Alta Baker and Ruth Sohn, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, with the Rev. Ben Lowell officiating. Burial will be in Bethel-Forder Cemetery in Cecil.

Calling hours are an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
