Church has 127 sale spaces available

North Union United Methodist Church, located north of Walmart at 4486 U.S. 127 is renting 20-by-20 and 20-by-30 foot spaces for the annual Highway 127 Yard Sale. Spaces will rent during the sale from Wednesday, August 1, through Saturday, August 4.  Set up at the church begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 31.  North Union’s location is easily accessible directly on U.S. 127, with ample customer parking.

The 20-by-20 foot spaces rent for $20 and 20-by-30 foot spaces rent for $30. These rates rent the space for all four days of the sale. Tables are available to rent for $10 each.

The rental spaces are on the lawn to allow for easy tent anchoring.  North Union’s location just north of Van Wert is a convenient and pleasant place for Sellers to spread out their wares for sale.  The church’s restrooms will be open and available for both shoppers and sellers.  The women of the church will also be selling food and cold beverages in the indoor, air-conditioned social hall for dining comfort.

“These amenities are a big advantage over every other sale location in Van Wert,” said event organizer Del Free.

The annual Highway 127 Yard Sale event stretches from Alabama to Michigan along U.S. 127.   North Union’s location is beautiful and very easy to find.  Both shoppers and sellers enjoy the relaxed sense of community spirit and cooperation here at the church. North Union has become a “planned shopping stop” for many travelers that tour this annual yard sale event.

Interested renters should contact the North Union United Methodist Church Office at 419.238.1907 for more information or to reserve their space as soon as possible.  Messages left after office hours will be returned promptly. Those interested in renting a space may also stop by the office during business hours to pick up a rental agreement.
