NPAC information

A one-of-a-kind live black-light puppet show, John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean is a magical undersea adventure for kids of all ages that will be in Van Wert on Saturday, November 3 for a 1:00 pm show. Tank, Bubbles and Dorsel are best friends who just happen to be fish, and they are about to set out on a remarkable journey of discovery. It all starts with a treasure map. As they swim off in search of clues, they sing, they dance and they make new friends, including everyone in the audience. Ultimately they discover the greatest treasure of all: friendship.

Tony-Award and Emmy-Award nominated actor John Tartaglia has starred in the acclaimed Broadway musical Avenue Q, appeared on Broadway in Shrek the Musical and in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, and created and starred in Disney Channel’s television series “Johnny and the Sprites.” A 10-year veteran of “Sesame Street,” Tartaglia is one of the youngest puppeteers ever to perform on the show, starting at the age of 16. Now, his creative gills have resulted in his creation of John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean, for which he wrote, produced and voices five of the main characters.

Jam-packed with original music ranging from swing to R & B to Big Band, John Tartaglia’s ImaginOcean is a blast from the first big splash to the last wave goodbye.

Entertainment Weekly says: “Entirely unique. … The visual, fully 3-D splendor will keep the audiences young and old entranced.”
