Diana S. Boley

Diana S. Boley, 53, of Scott, went to be with her Lord and Savior at 6:20 a.m. Friday, August 3, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center after a seven-year courageous battle with cancer.

She was born December 8, 1958, in Van Wert, the daughter of Marjorie (Neiford) Secaur, who survives at Vancrest of Convoy, and the late Dwight D. Secaur. On August 13, 1979, she married Rick D. Boley, who also survives.

She was a unit secretary at Van Wert County Hospital and a 1977 graduate of Van Wert High School. She was also a member of Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert.

In addition to her mother and husband, survivors include two sons, Curtis (Jill) Boley of Blacklick and Nick (Shannon) Boley of Van Wert; a daughter, Erika (Robert) Mefferd of Convoy; two brothers, Barry (Judy) Secaur of Decatur, Ind., and Jim (Sierra) Secaur of Convoy; one sister, Karen (Jim) Feasby of Convoy; seven grandchildren, Luke, Grant and Courtney Mefferd, McKenna and Alivia Boley, Elijah Boley and Madison Rabold; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday, August 7, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastors Steve Savidge and Neil Hammons officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Monday, August 6, at the funeral home.
