Kindergarten screenings set in VWCS

VWCS information

The Van Wert Early Childhood Center will be holding screenings for incoming kindergarten students the week of September 10, as noted during registration.

Letters will be sent out the week of August 13 stating an appointment time. Screenings will be held at 839 Prospect Ave. (formally the Washington Elementary School). Students will be assigned to teacher classrooms at the conclusions of all the screenings.

A kindergarten screening schedule will be posted at the Early Childhood Center Monday, August 27. Just a reminder, children who have turned 5 years of age before August 1 and reside in the Van Wert City School district are eligible for kindergarten.

Kindergarten and Preschool classes will start Monday, September 17.
