Volleyball league results released

Convoy United Methodist defeated North Union and St. Mary’s defeated First Baptist to advance in tournament play in early matches. Convoy U.M. then won again over St. Mary’s.

Going head to head, the No. 1-seeded Lifehouse was defeated by No. 2 seed Calvary. Lifehouse then faced Convoy U.M. in the losers bracket and defeated Convoy in a very close match.

Lifehouse will face Calvary Evangelical in the championship game, to be played at 7 p.m. Monday, August 13.

Women’s League Standings

1. Shenanigans, 2. Murphy’s Trash, 3. Moe’s Dugout, and 4. Farmers Insurance. Tournament play began on Tuesday.

Coed League Standings

1. Good Times Saloon, 2. Olympic Lanes, 3. Fricker’s, and 4. Lafarge. Tournament will begin Friday, August 10, at 7 p.m. Good Times will face Lafarge and Olympic Lanes will face Fricker’s.
