Roger Leroy Schaffer

Roger Leroy Schaffer, 70, of Ohio City, died at 6:25 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born October 19, 1941, in Van Wert, the son of the late Robert and Edna (Leiter) Schaffer.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 16, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
