Lady Lancers 7th at Celina tourney

CELINA — The Lady Lancer golf team traveled to Celina’s Fox’s Den Golf Course to take part in the Bulldogs Lady Invitational.  The 16-team tournament included many of the area’s top teams.

Taking top honors were the foursome of Findlay High School as they shot a team score of 353.  The Trojans top player, Tweed, was runner-up medalist with a 79.  Garnering the runner-up team trophy was the Defiance Lady Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs, coming off the Lancer Invitational championship, posted a 364. Lima Central Catholic’s team score of 367 was led by Shelby Warner’s match medalist score of 76.

The Lancers finished in seventh place with a team score of 411. They were paced by Kaitlyn Brant’s 84, which placed her in the sixth overall position out of 85 players.  Amanda Kocab recorded a score of 98.  Teammates Macey Ashbaugh and Mikenna Klinger finished with scores of 105 and 123, respectively.

Lincolnview will travel to Defiance to participate in the Lady Bulldog Invitational, which will be held at the Kettenring Country Club.
