New business opens

A new downtown business, Open Minded, which features tattoos and piercings, as well as other items, had its grand opening over the weekend at its location on 111 W. Main St. (formerly Mum’s Cafe). The business, which is owned by Bradley Hamman and Bethany Nolin, plans to be open from 11 a.m.-8 p.m., seven days a week, for its clientele. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
