VW man gets prison for drug trafficking

A Van Wert man was sentenced to prison on a drug trafficking charge during a hearing held Monday morning in Van Wert County Common Pleas Court.
Joshua Lane, 26, earned a nine-month prison sentence on the fifth-degree felony offense, although Judge Charles D. Steele also gave him credit for 125 days already served while awaiting sentencing.
Lane also had 546 days parole time reimposed from a previous sentence, to be served consecutively to the latest drug trafficking case.
The defendant was also ordered to pay court costs in the case.
