YMCA summer camps end

The YMCA of Van Wert County summer camps have come to an end. Over the 10 weeks of camps, nearly 200 children ages 6-12 participated. Every week had a specific theme and children pictured here are those who went horseback riding during “Cowboys to Aliens” camp. “We had another great year with the kids and we would like to give a big thank you to the kids and parents who make this all possible,” said YMCA Program Director Mitch Price. “We look forward to making next year’s camps even bigger and better.”  Price also thanked the sponsors of this year’s camps, which include Foster Family Chiropractic, Lee Kinstle GM Sales & Service, Treece Landscaping and Design and Van Wert Propane.  He also thanked American Car Rental for providing all of the transportation for this year’s camp field trips, as well as Van Wert Manor for providing all of the snacks throughout the summer.
