Hectic in Crestview
By Josh Staten
Crestview has been a bit hectic the past few weeks with testing and the weather. Two weeks ago the high school took their midterm exams. Each exam day consisted of two exam periods and three regular periods.
Cody Hagaman commented on the exam schedule by saying, “I really likes this new scheduling because I don’t have to study for three or four tests in a day.”
Steven Rickard thought the opposite. He said, “I didn’t like it because I don’t like how we had to take them the whole week. I would rather take them in just two days.”
The last week was even crazier for both sides of the high school. Crestview Schools only went to school two days last week. So students and teachers are prepared to stay later in to June and possibly Saturdays to make up days missed. Once the school board approves it we could be attending school on Saturday March 5 and Saturday March 19.
Isaac Rager gave his opinion on Saturday school, “I don’t like the idea because it takes way from his weekend, but I would rather go now than later into the year.”
The hope is that the seniors won’t have to push back their graduation date any further.
