Mary Kay Wilcox

Mary Kay Wilcox, 94, died Monday, September 3, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Van Wert. She was born February 24, 1918, the daughter of the late William J. and Ellen Murphy. On October 7, 1941, she married the Rev. Edsel Wilcox, who preceded her in death on July 30, 1982.

Survivors include two sons, Bill (Linda) Wilcox of Blacklick and Jim (Nancy) Wilcox of Haviland; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday, September 7, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Graveside services will also be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday in Shawnee Cemetery in Shawnee.

Calling hours are from noon-6 p.m. Thursday, September 6, at the funeral home.
