Crestview names homecoming royalty
Crestview information
Once again, the Crestview Student Council has tackled the task of planning homecoming activities for fall 2012. This year’s homecoming theme is “Sweet Dreams,” which will be a celebration of Crestview’s successes: past, present, and future.
There is a full slate of activities planned, beginning Thursday, September 27, with the Homecoming Parade at 6:30 p.m. Mock Homecoming and Powder Puff game between the junior and senior class girls will follow the parade at approximately 7 that evening.
On Friday afternoon, September 28, a pep assembly will be held. A ceremony will be held at 7 p.m. Friday in which the Homecoming King and Queen will be crowned. The court consists of freshman attendants Isaiah Kline and Jada Preston. Sophomore attendants include Jacob Lippi and MacKenzie Riggenbach. Junior attendants are Justin Gibson and Audrie Placke. King candidates (all seniors) are Jacob Harmon, Venice Roberts, and Trevor Roop, while queen candidates include Mekale Clifton, Brittany Helt, and McKenzie Ray.
Following the coronation, the Crestview Knight football team will be playing Delphos Jefferson. The last event of the weekend is the homecoming dance for grades 9-12 on Saturday, September 29, from 7-10 p.m. in the auditeria. Community members are invited to take place in the events and catch the Crestview spirit.
