Mary Evelyn Cole

Mary Evelyn Cole, 95, of Braden, Fla., and formerly of Van Wert, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday, October 19, 2012, at Heritage Park Care & Rehab in Bradenton.

She was born September 11, 1917, in Van Wert, the daughter of the late N.A. and Ilo Agnes Young. She married Lloyd Melville “King” Cole, who preceded her in death.

Mrs. Cole was a retired employee of Federal-Mogul Corporation’s National Seal Division in Van Wert.

Survivors include a son, Donn R. Myers of Bradenton.

A son, Dennis “Speedy” Myers, also preceded her in death.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 9 a.m. Friday, October 26, in Woodland Cemetery in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.

There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements were handled by Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert.
