Santa Claus coming to Convoy soon

CONVOY — Santa Claus will be arriving at the Convoy Edgewood Park Community Building on Saturday, December 1, beginning at 1:30 p.m.

Children can chat with Santa and receive a treat from the Jolly Old Elf; there will be a crafts project to participate in and refreshments will be served. Parents and grandparents should bring a camera for pictures of the children with Santa.

In addition, there will be collection boxes for non-perishable food items for the Helping Hands Food Pantry, used cell phones for Crime Victim Services and one for unwanted eyeglasses for the Lions Club.

The Convoy Lions Club and Convoy businesses sponsor this community event.
