Senior Center to have holiday luncheon

The Van Wert County Council on Aging will be having its annual Christmas Potluck Luncheon on Tuesday, December 11. Events will begin promptly at 10:30 a.m., with the Van Wert High School Show Choir serenading seniors with Christmas songs and joy. Lunch will follow at 11 a.m.

Everyone is encouraged to bring in their favorite dish to share with others. Dishes can be a main dish or a dessert. At 12:30 p.m., Penny Bingo will begin, with special Christmas gifts as prizes for winners. Penny Bingo participants should plan to bring 66 cents in pennies.

Those who would like to participate in the festivities should call the Council on Aging office at 419.238.5011 by December 4. Those who then can also let the office staff know what dish they will be bringing.
