Martha M. Flanagan
Martha M. Flanagan, 91, of Delphos, died at 5:50 a.m. Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima.
She was born January 5, 1921, in Allen County, the daughter of the late John and Irene E. (Mueller) Youngpeter. On February 14, 1942, she married Robert Flanagan, who preceded her in death on April 25, 1984.
Survivors include two sons, Dennis (Nancy) Flanagan of Illinois and Harry (Anita) Flanagan of Delphos; two daughters, Kathie (Thomas) Winter and Tina (Jeff) Grothouse, both of Delphos; a brother, Eugene T. Youngpeter; one sister, Velma Kinstle of Florida; 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a stepdaughter-in-law, Pam Harpster of Columbus.
A daughter, Carol Flanagan Harpster; one son-in-law, Danny Harpster; three brothers, Louis, Hubert and Franklin Youngpeter; one sister, Lillian Reindel; and a great-grandson, Troy Reindel, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 24, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Chris Bohnsack officiating. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Delphos.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, November 23, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a parish wake will be held at 7:30 that evening.
