William F. Now

William F. Now, 84, of Rockford, died at 7:10 p.m. Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born August 1, 1928, in Mishawaka, Ind., the son of the late Jay W. and Thelma (Siler) Now. On December 9, 1949, he married Mary Jane (Vorhees) Now, who survives in Rockford.

Other survivors include two sons, Randy Jay (Lauren) Now of Lompoc, Calif., and Bradley Now of Rockford; one sister, Shirley Roebuck of Celina; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter.

A brother, Jack Now; and one sister, Jean Sweigart, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, November 26, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford, with Pastor Mark Rutledge officiating.

Calling hours are from 2-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
