Marietta Louise Harper

Marietta Louise Harper, 82, of Paulding, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Gardens of Paulding.

She was born August 4, 1930, in Payne, the daughter of the late Paul and Bertha (Mabis) Zielke. On March 19, 1952, she married Frank A. Harper, who survives in Paulding.

Other survivors include three daughters, Carol (Russ) Flint, Brenda Riggenbach and Patti (Brian) Stoller, all of Paulding; one son, Ron (Judy) Harper of Springboro; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Wayne Zielke of Antwerp.

Four brothers, Alvin, Carl, Ray and Paul Zielke, and two sisters, Clara Dye and Ruth Harper, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, November 29, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Briceton. Burial will follow in Live Oak Cemetery in Paulding.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding, and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.

Preferred memorials: St. John’s Lutheran Church or the Gardens of Paulding Activity Fund.
